Torquay, Victoria’s Surfing Capital and A young family with sensible approach to living and lifestyle. Grandview Passivhaus was a challenge to create a special space in a special location on a modest budget. Successful? See for yourself!

This project was so much fun. Re-using beautiful Aussie hardwood timber from the former home, connection throughout the living spaces and an outlook to the native and edible gardens - Grandview Passivhaus appeals to all the senses.

The natural light floods the open living area throughout the morning and midday. By afternoon, the orientation and surrounding trees protect the space with a cool ambient feel.

The mid-century modern vibe is perfectly complementary to the former family home. The spaces flow between one another and are connected by the spine wall clad in the floorboards reclaimed and rejuvenated by the client.
