Teesdale Passive House
The Teesdale Passive House, located just 30 kilometres East of Geelong, Victoria, was designed and built to be a very simple, yet hardworking home for its new owner. One of our most successful projects, it challenged our understanding of construction budgets for a high performance building and delivered on the client brief - a self-sufficient home that would require next to no maintenance and be extremely comfortable, year round.. With no compromise on the quality of materials or workmanship, the house is filled with natural light and feels much larger than the illusion the compact form might give upon arrival.
“Finding a builder and designer who was on pretty much the same wave length as me regarding building a house for a sustainable future. I was also looking for someone who was realistic about the costs of such a house and able to talk me through what would work and more importantly what wouldn’t work.” - Kerri Erler (Owner)
